Brassica.
A gently earsplitting, grossly endearing little combination of trumpet,
trombone, tuba, drum and vocals who play funk, blues, Latin American hits
and will attempt any style and any song (unlikely requests a speciality).
Elegantly clad in beige suits stolen from a third world airline, they are
always on the move, shunning such bourgeois extravagances as microphones
and amplifiers. With an impressive pedigree (born of the Oxo Cubans, Checkerboard
Lounge, Bomba, Sock, The Mambologist, The Acapelicans and Batacuda), they
delightfully blend foolishness with excessive musicianship in a quartet
including Paul Coyle, Mal Webb, Wayne Freer and Carl Panuzzo.
To book the band, named after the genus containing broccoli, brussel
sprouts and canola, contact Mal Webb.

Left to right: Paul, Wayne, Mal, Carl and THE MAN (not included in the
band unless specifically requested).
